Last night I couldn’t stop thinking about what was going through Steven Matz’s head.
Daniel. Murphy. Five homers in the last five games, six homers in the last eight games.
Forget the classic baseball costumes this year (no Sandlot).
I’m alive. Watching the game yesterday, I downed one glass of wine in the first inning. I probably did have a minor panic attack, but it was TOTALLY WORTH IT.
This is my first time experiencing the postseason to this degree, and I don’t really know how to handle it. Sitting through my two classes today, I’m basically a waste of space. I’m overanalyzing a game that hasn’t even begun. Here’s a decent outline of how my day will go, as told by GIFs.
